Install and Set up HRwiz

In order to start using HRwiz, you need to install it as a bot for your team (team scope installation), or just for yourself (personal scope installation) to explore its capabilities. Please note that the first user to install the HRwiz bot in a team scope will also be the Admin of the bot, while if you install the bot in a personal scope you will be treated like a Team Member. The Admin has elevated privileges.

Please note: The HRwiz bot is currently in a beta version and it is not available publicly in the MS Teams store, yet. While it is going to be released soon, you can try the bot by contacting us at support@hrwiz.bot and we will provide you with extra information.

Team Scope Installation:

Step 1: Search for the HRwiz bot in the MS Teams store

Go to the “Apps” menu in MS Teams and search for HRwiz.

Step 2: Add the HRwiz bot to a team

Select the HRwiz app, click on the arrow icon on the right of the “Add” button and then click on the “Add to a team” option.
Please note: If you select the “Add” option, the bot will be added in a personal scope, as described a in the Personal Scope Installation section below.

Step 3: Select your Team

Select the team you want to add the HRwiz bot to from the dropdown menu. Then click on the “Set up a bot” button.

HRwiz is now added to your team and you can start talking with the bot in a direct channel or in a public channel by tagging the bot this way @hrwiz your message. From now on, when a new member is added to a team that the bot is installed, the new member receives a welcome message from the bot in a direct channel. Also a short onboarding process starts in the direct channel.

Personal Scope Installation:

Step 1: Search for the HRwiz bot in the MS Teams store

Go to the “Apps” menu in MS Teams and search for HRwiz.

Step 2: Add the HRwiz bot for personal usage

Select the HRwiz app and click on the “Add” button.

Step 3: Talk to the bot in a direct channel

The bot is now added for personal usage only and you can talk with it in a direct channel.
